She is the Principal of the firm and has over 12 years’ experience, and has extensive experience in all aspects of Family Law. Janelle practises primarily in the area of Family Law including divorce, de facto, property settlements, child support and custody issues. Janelle also practises in the areas of Criminal Law, Domestic Violence and Child Protection.
Janelle completed a Bachelor of Laws and Criminology at Griffith University in 2005 and in 2006 was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia.
Janelle established her own legal practice, now known as JMR Lawyers & Mediators, on 1st July 2012. Throughout her career, Janelle has worked as a General Legal Practitioner practising primarily in all aspects of Family Law.
Janelle is a qualified criminologist and works in the areas of Family Law, Criminal and Traffic matters, Wills and Estates, Domestic Violence and Conveyancing matters. Janelle is also a qualified Mediator for Family Dispute Resolution services and a fully qualified Independent Children’s Lawyer.
Janelle is caring and open, and aims to provide the best possible outcome for her clients. Outside of work Janelle enjoys spending time with her two young boys.

Cristina Vitanzi is a Junior Solicitor and has been a part of our team at JMR Lawyers & Mediators since 2016. Cristina practises primarily in the area of Family Law including divorce, de facto, property settlements, child support and custody issues. Cristina also practises in the areas of Criminal Law, Domestic Violence and Child Protection.
Cristina holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business from Griffith University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. She is admitted as a Legal Practitioner in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Cristina was admitted as a lawyer in August 2017, and has been working exclusively in family law since joining JMR Lawyers & Mediators.
Cristina is open, approachable and aims to provide clients with the best possible outcome for their matter. Cristina also has specific knowledge in business related matters largely due to the work completed in her Business Degree.
Cristina predominantly appears in the Family Court, Federal Circuit Court and Magistrates Courts.

Tracy Bell is a senior Paralegal and has been a part of our team at JMR Lawyers & Mediators since 2012, and has over 30 years’ experience. Tracy has extensive legal industry experience across family law, dispute resolution, wills and estate planning, succession planning and estate administration and criminal and traffic law.
She works closely with the Principal and employed Solicitors day-to-day. Tracy has a detailed knowledge of the litigation processes and procedures required for Magistrates Court, District Court, Supreme Court, Family Court and Federal Circuit Court. This experience has enabled Tracy to develop excellent communication and file management skills.
Tracy brings with her a caring and personable approach to supporting and working with clients hoping to relieve their stress and assisting them through what can be a difficult time during their lives.
Tracey Knight is a Paralegal and also our Accounts Manager. She has been a part of our team at JMR Lawyers & Mediators since 2012 and has over 20 years’ experience. She works closely with the Principal and employed Solicitors day-to-day.
